Brod Boy Luna's KapARTiran Art Fair

by Rolly Reyes

KapARTiran was held Dec. 6-8 at Brod Chito Tapawan’s Building at Bansalangin St., Veteran’s Village, Project 7, Quezon City.

An unassuming brod but extremely talented impressionist, Brod Boy Luna displayed his awesome collection of paintings that he rendered when he was in Indonesia.

One cannot escape the glorious blend of delicate yet powerful brushstrokes that welded a multitude of colors to arouse one’s festive sense. The intricate dabs of oil betray his unusual ability to invite us to join the merriment of his chosen themes. His creativity is inspiring and magical.

The surprise of the evening was a back to back rendition of his son and daughter of a couple of classical pieces by playing the violin that makes you wonder where this family came from. Witnesses to this elegant gathering are his family and friends, Brod Founder Rico Arranz and wife Tita Sol, Brod Ross Fernando and wife, Brods Ruben Medina and Chito Tapawan.
