Midwest GP 2022-23 Caloy Belleza, UPLB'64, welcomes guests.
The BETA SIGMA Fraternity Midwest USA held its 32nd Grand Fraternity Ball last October 27 to 29, 2023 at Double Tree Hotel, Skokie, IL. The
holding of the Fratball during the term of GP Carlos "Caloy" Belleza, UPLB’64
Exodus was the decision of nine (9) members out of 13 in a general membership
meeting on Jan. 7,2023. This is to rekindle the ties of brotherhood,
camaraderie, and youthful experience. At the same time to give recognition to
past officers during COVID time - GP Charlie Martinez, San Beda College’79A, and
to welcome Incoming 2024-25 GP Bernardo Mique, University of St. Louis
Baguio’77C. The GPs who attended were 12, of which 7 are incumbent. We are
greatly honored to have Brod Ed Quisumbing during the event. Fellow Brods
Ernie”Togi” Igot, Nestor Lawas, Cosme Santiago were always by his side.

coordination efforts of Vice GPs Brods Willie Ramos, UPD ‘67B and Orly Manimtim,
Trinity ’77 3 Musketeers and the support and trust of fellow BETANS made the
event a reality.
Our goals to make the event safe - no record of any
accident, illness, and memorable - city tour, singing and dancing and face to
face conversations, and fund raising so we can earmark $2K out of the event’s
proceeds to fund 2 orphanages in the Philippines and giving away souvenirs,
backscratchers, as symbol of supporting one another, were achieved with the
blessings of the Lord.
Sigma Betans participate and grace the Midwest Fraternity Ball celebration.
Great job GP Caloy and FL Marissa Belleza!
Cheers to
