The wives of UP Beta Sigma, Alberta Chapter, headed by the wife of Brod Rod
Liggayu, UP Baguio'83, spearheaded the fund raising to pay for the books.
UP Beta Sigma International (UPBSI) coordinated and delivered the books. Brod
Treasurer Dennis Belmonte represented UPBSI in the turnover of 50,000 pieces of
children's books to the poor barangays of Quezon City on April 7, 2025.
