Dear Brod Prez Brandy and the Rest of the Board,

Happy New Year.

May I just share with you some quick updates on our brethren from UP Visayas.

• New Set of Alumni Officers. The UP Visayas Betans are now headed by Brod Jose Razon III. We fondly call him "Jojo." We consider this a key move because Brod Jojo travels regularly to Region VI and so he keeps track of what is happening on the "ground" better than most. Moreover, he was part of the original batch of recruits who ended up among the first batch in our campus in 1989, 22 years ago.

• New Betan. We have a new Betan resident, John Emmanuel Marcaida. He is a 2nd year BS Economics student who hails from Mindoro Oriental. I talked to GP Doni Almio and they still are optimistic to add 4 more before the school years ends.

• Participation in the UPV Lantern Parade

• Continuation of the Christmas with Kids tradition

• Update on the February 2012 Party
