Brods Throw Early Thanksgiving Parties by Norm Bituin and Ernie Igot
Buena Park, California
Thanksgiving in November had come in early for two UP Betans from opposite coasts: Mando Enrico, UPD'63, from California and Ferdz Hallare, UPD'91, from Virginia. After their successful bypass surgeries, both had taken the time to give thanksgiving and celebrate the happy occasion with their individual families and the Betan families as well.
On the West Coast, Rexie prepared a culinary feast on Sept. 6 that gave homage to the Lord with Minister Paul Kim of La Palma Methodist Church leading the service. And on the East Coast, brods and wives motored to Virginia Beach on Sept. 7 to give joyous cheer to Ferdz. He has allegedly sworn to have given up the "cardiac delights" and will follow a healthy diet from now on. Congratulations and good luck on that, Brod Ferdz!

Maryland brods Abe Agulto UPD71D, Raoul Reyes UPD65 and Ernie Igot UPD70 with their wives drove down to Virginia Beach last Sunday, September 7 to visit Ferdz Hallare UPD91F who underwent a successful quadruple bypass operation three weeks ago. The get-together was held at the wonderful home of Techie and Jim Gonzalvo UPLB70B where the group had a sumptuous lunch of sisig and relyenong bangus among others. With the group also were Mar Aspiras UPLB54 and wife Rec, Sigma Beta UPLB56. Cheers!
