Brods,
Sharing with you this letter from the residents with a quick recap of the
Brods' performance at the UAAP Season 77 Swimming Championships.
The past week I also got to talk to some of the Brods who competed to get
some "behind the scenes" stories and I'm also happy to share this with
you:
Brod Jace Cuachin was sharing quarters with two other brods (Josh Balinas
and MJ Alindogan), one upsimolian and one barbarian. After each game, the
brods had enough recovery food to power them up for the next event. While
sharing their food, their team mates were very vocal on how they envy the
amount of supplies our Brods have. On another occasion, a sigmaroachan
swimmer can't help but ask, "Ano ba meron sa inyo at ang dami nyong
supplies?" The Brods, full of pride, simply answered back, "We're fully
supported by our Fraternity, especially our alumni." The sigmaroachan just
then muttered, "Buti pa kayo."
The championships is done and while UP finished 2nd, the Brods performed
and delivered. The support given to our VST Brods greatly motivated them
and gave them a strong sense of pride that they truly belong to the
Fraternity of Choice.
On behalf of the UP Diliman residents, I would like to extend my gratitude
to OBBF, UPBSFI and UPBSF-Central for your overwherlming support. 'til the
next events. Cheers!

Brod Mon,
On behalf of the UP Varsity Swimming Team Brods, I wish to thank you for
the support you have personally given us for this endeavor. The financial
support from the alumni brothers had greatly helped the brods in this
year's edition of the UAAP. The VST brods even shared anecdotes of how
their team mates envied the support you have provided us. We shall follow
this up with the acknowledgement letter and financial report of
expenditures.
On another note, I would like to personally apologize if this report had
taken too long to accomplish. None the less, I wish to present you this
article, as attached to this email. Please feel free to comment.
May I also ask if you will be the one to pass along this email/report to
our other alumni brods or would I be the one to find the avenue to do so?
Again, Brod my sincerest thanks!
Cheers!
James Bryan Salazar
