A Report on Pacquiao-Margarito Fight Pay Per View Project of UP Diliman Resident Brods 14 November 2010, UP Film Institute
Dear Brods,
Yes, it's a full house, inspite of the competition in the nearby UP Theater na "nilangaw". The resident brods really, really WORKED HARD for this. Kudos to GP Josh Caringal and Brod Rupert Ambil who was with them all the way. Thanks also to the alumni brods (here and abroad) for wholeheartedly supporting the event. OBBF was there to beef up the strength with their all-for-one, one-for-all spirit.
Yes, it was a huge success netting the resident brods a whooping Php 100K as per Brod Rupert. Glad to see Brod Botit Reyes again and balikbetan Brod Rolly Balingit. Noteworthy and a breath of fresh air is the sales and secretariat support of the LCs. Really hope that we will be all forward-looking as we fade away and give way to the next gen leadership. The event was well organized, there was free breakfast for ticket holders and they were able to even serve food to UP Police assigned. Cheers to the res brods who manned entry points faithfully giving directions to ticket holders for 4 hours! Also glad to know that they will post-mortem to pinpoint minor glitches. GP Josh will send a detailed report soon.
A major major bonus, of course, is the 8th championship belt of Pambansang Kamao and Gentleman from Sarangani Manny Pacquiao! (Pinoy joke - Mexicans, wala na bang iba?)
Onwards beloved Tabets and congrats to all!
