Wow, a Karaoke Night with the Sigma Beta

Several of the resident Diliman Brods and I kicked off a start to our semestral break with a fun-filled Karaoke night with the Sigma Betans. This marked a long-awaited get-together between the Brods and Sis. The venue was the  Pork Barrel, a  cool joint  on Kalayaan Ave.

We started off with a dinner of assorted “inihaws” from liempo to pusit.  We didn’t get a karaoke room right away, so we stayed at the table and shared some laughs and stories as the Brods and Sis’ got to know each other.  Some were already old acquaintances, while others were meeting for the first time.

When we finally got our karaoke room, the lively singing began and continued on for two hours.  From singing Beatles classics, to Pinoy love songs, the ruggedly-handsome Brods wooed the Sis’ with their ruggedly soothing voices.  The Sigma Betans, on the other hand, did not fail to impress us with their own version of Spice Girls songs and other pop hits.

After karaoke, over a few more rounds of drinks, the Brods and Sis’ continued the fun with endless jokes and kwentuhan into the wee hours of the morning

Cheers!!
