"Ninong" Willie Nep Meets UP Baguio Residents

Master showman Willie Nepomuceno, UPD'69, the "Ninong" of UP Beta Sigma Baguio got the chance to visit and bond with his "inaanaks", the UP resident brods, on a recent concert at the Baguio Country Club. In his email to UPBSFI Prez Tatang Vergara, he asked,

 

         "Pls give my contact number to Brod Miko of Baguio. May biglaan akong show sa Baguio Country Club

           on Dec 3. It'll be nice to have at least an initial bonding with him or by phone if we can have a chance to

           meet over a cup of coffee (since I don't drink), time permitting."

 

As explained by Tatang: "The Ninongs are UPBSFI's elders in each of their respective campuses. As such, they are to interface with the resident brods in terms of carrying out our common vision of making the UP Beta Sigma Fraternity as the fraternity of choice. Inherent in their function is the sourcing of funding (preferable through sponsorship) from UPBSFI's geographical locations (e.g. Australia, Canada, Southern California, Midwest, etc.) of the campus projects that they will determine to be "recruitment sensitive", i.e. most likely to produce new quality recruits."
