UP North Remembers Pogs

There are those who can draw a crowd and laughter but Pogs can gather a one -- even in his "absence". It has been 2 years since he passed away.

Around 30 guests -- family, friends and the UP North family-- gathered last Saturday Jan 3 in Palo Alto to remember a well loved brod, Manuel "Pogs" Gaspay batch 68b Diliman. The day began by his gravesite with prayers and songs dedicated. It was followed by a sumptuous meal prepared exclusively for the occasion. The day was capped by fond stories about Pogs -- his life and how he meant to us.

Tears of joy were shed and, definitely, his presence was evident -- in us. Cheers.
