It was a fitting party for a
      fraternity icon.
GP Dave Villegas, batch 55 UPD, celebrated his 76th birthday, June 21, in
Salinas with brod Bobby and sis Harlene Pascual rolling out the red carpet
      for the special occasion.

It was open house, open bar (umaapaw ng Remy, Henessey), original Ilocano
cooking – papaitan, kalderatang kambing, traditional (cholesterol laden)
Filipino dishes/delicacies – pinakbet, pichi-pichi and siyempre, lechon.

To make sure everything went well, they “recruited” from within their
extended family to help out in the cooking and bar tending.

It was an event not to be missed.
The brods and sisters came from all over Northern California – traveling
an average 100 miles (one way) and some even as far as Sacramento/Stockton
      (200 miles away).

      Brotherhood knows no distance.

From Sacramento/Stockton: JR, Nestor, Bong & Eileen, Cecilio & Anita.

From Richmond: Gerry & Lleva., Frank
      & Tess.
From the North Bay: Eric, Vee,
      Dutch, Hepe & Mercy.
      From Mid Peninsula/EastBay: Gabby,
Gil O (guest bass player), May, Boy & Irma, Julie & Ding, Winston & Vangie,

      Gilbert & Eileen
From the South Bay: Gene & Genny,
      Johnny & Gloria, Ric, Babes.

There were calls from Southern California and Manila. Rock and Roll music
was made available by the Band of Brothers (brod Kiko was in Manila). Lots
of singing, dancing, billards and “tsag-a-lug”. Btw, Bonghits, the
celebrant “won” the “invisible leather” Betan jacket.

As the evening was winding down and the ladies sounded the “first call”
(translation:: uwian na), brod Dave was all smiles! Joyfully so.

He is well loved and respected. Cheers to 76 more!

And, maraming salamat – brod Bobby & sis Harlean!
