Dear Brods,

Just had a very fruitful meeting here in my office yesterday to tighten up support for the immediate projects lined up this year like 4th Tito De Santos Medical Mission of UP SoCal, 2010 Declaration and UPLB's 10/10/10.

We were honored to have the following attendees for this (quite historical) meeting that hopefully will trigger a solid approach to my humble personal 2010 motto of  "breaking boundaries towards solidarity".

Brods: Founder Rico Arranz, Pat FG Roman, guest Cecilio Felix '52, Leo Balagot of 10/10/10, Ruben Pascual UPBSAAI, GP Diliman Elmer Reyes, GP Los Banos John Michael Cabuguason, 2010 Declaration volunteers Joel Paredes, Cris Michelena, Dante Agulto, Gene Puente, Chax Baldoria, Prof. Joe Lalas, Potti Aparato, Sonny Pagador, and Father Bing.
 

It was heartwarming to note the outpouring of the legendary Betan spirit that lit the conference room throughout that fateful evening. Guided by the wisdom of the Founder, we all agreed, committed and mapped out implementation of ALL projects on the table. The 2 resident GPs expressed their appreciation of the current state of relationship between alumni brods and resident brods of both Diliman and Los Banos. They acknowledged that the 2010 Declaration provided them a platform to integrate and consolidate all efforts and its rewards in increasing recruitment/membership.

We all agreed to host the fellowship night after the day-long medical mission of UP SoCal brods. This is a small token of our appreciation to the annual humanitarian gesture of UP SoCal brods to contribute a worthwhile endeavor to help our less fortunate countrymen. This is also a salute to doctors volunteers supporting this project. We invited UP President Emer Roman to be our special guest for the night to symbolize the fraternity's commitment to spearhead support in making the state university as the premier educational institution in nation building.

2010 Declaration will be formally launched during the fellowship.

Brod Leo Balagot pitched the 10/10/10 celebration and the details of the 5-day celebration. GP Elmer detailed the preparations made by Diliman brods. GP Cabuguason will bring Los Banos res brods to help out. Brod Ruben to alert alumni participation. A text brigade to inform all brods will be done by Brod Potti. Fellowship night program headed by Brod Joel Paredes. Gerardo's thru Brod Dante Agulto will cater the dinner.

Joel and I will take care of media and publicity. Resident brods to marshall crowd control and assist in event management. Brod Ruben to seek additional doctors to supplement Dr. Henry Yanes team. (UE, FEU, PGH, etc.)

Patients/recipients breakdown as per assignment with transportation taken cared of:
 -- Chax Baldoria will invite 500 patients
 -- Cong. Mat Defensor/Manny Balangue 1,500
 -- UP community c/o GP Elmer 1,000
