JC-PS SOMA Wellness of Body & Mind Awareness Seminar

The Johnny Chiuten Pronus Supinus - School of Martial Arts (JC-PS SOMA) held the 3-day Wellness of Body & Mind Awareness Seminar in UP Los Baños Jan. 28-30, 2018 at the O.F. Sison Multi-Purpose Hall and in UP Diliman Feb. 2-4, 2018 at the University Hotel. Master Theresa Chung conducted the Chi Gong class; Master Jopet Laraya the Dragon Style Kung Fu, Arnis de Cadena and Yang Style Tai Chi; and Sifu Patrick Lee the Fu-Style Tai Chi Bagua, Yang Pakua and Changing Palms. Brods Ollie Jumao-as and Freddy Fajardo ably assisted in the training chores. The seminar was intended to raise funds for the construction of the Johnny F. Chiuten Memorial Arena in San Jose, Batangas, which shall serve as the permanent training and learning center for health-conscious and martial arts enthusiast brothers and friends, locally and abroad.

Flying in the night before from Kuala Lumpur on a 5-day mini trip to Singapore and Malaysia, I made it a point to be at the final day of the seminar in UP Diliman. I was able to enjoy the fellowship with the alummi and resident brothers/sisters, record the important event with some of these pictures, and especially to personally hand my pledge for the Johnny F. Chiuten Memorial Arena to Brods Jopet Laraya and Ollie Jumao-as.

From the lists given to me, the following were the participants on the final day:
