Panzers Revel in 48th, 2 years to Golden!

As sure as the sun setting, we all gathered again on March 19, 2017, Sunday, to celebrate our 48 years in
the Fraternity. As usual, Kabatch Boyet Fernandez was our jolly host at his
Antipolo home. Kabatch Gene Puente, Rollie Dimayuga and I arrived early. Brod
Rollie was a better navigator than Gene, showing us a new route to get there
faster. Brods Ed Abon, Doug Mondoñedo, Pres.
Joel Paredes, Past Pres. Jojo Alejar, Nonoy Bautista, Randy Malayao and Ambo
Lapis followed us. First timer Perry Callanta also came waving his bitbit na
single malt whisky which the brods promptly consumed. The brods also engorged
themselves with the steamed tahong I brought. Nasarapan ng todo sina Brods Nonoy
and Ed. Pretty soon, Kabatch Julius Cada, Willie Nep, Luis Guanio and Gil Marzo
joined us, and the alaskahan and kwentuhan exploded.
The kodakan were very frequent in between alaskahan and boisterous laughters.
Inspite of being under the weather, Kabatch Wilie Nep was able to make it. Iba
talaga pag Panzer, may determination! Reminded me of his multiple tries to join
our beloved Fraternity fifty yrs. ago. We are honored that he became our
batchmate on his final try! Mabuhay ka Kabatch Nepo!
We were also joined by first timers Brods Mon Paje, Chaks Baldoria, Lakan
Fonacier and Kim Cabatit. We were hoping more brods would attend since Brod
Boyet posted on our viber group an open invitation. Serious matters were also
touched upon, like our financial standing, the frat house and Frat sweetheart.
Pres. Joel also pushed his request for ads in our 71st anniv. souvenir program.
We were treated to a catered sumptuous dinner and throw in a whole lechon! Booze
flowed after dinner. Kabatch Rollie D. had his fill, so were Brods Nonoy B. and
Doug M. There were plenty to spare pa! After some more kwentuhan and alaskahan
from Brod Perry (cya ang bangka) and black coffee, we all unanimously called it
a night! Puro seniors na kasi e! We'll be back next year!
