Signing of the Memorandum of Agreement of the Arboretum Project between UP Beta Sigma Fraternity, University of the Philippines, Department of Environment and Natural Resources and Department of Agriculture.
Arboretum is a joint project to protect the only forest remaining in Metro Manila consisting of a 16 hectare-parcel of land within the UP campus. UPBSF, Inc. will part of a technical working group that will oversee, manage and develop said property. More details will be coming from Brods Butch Madarang and Cris Michelena as our lead representatives in this project.
Another forthcoming projects like anti-rabies vaccination project for the UP Community led by our National Scientist Dr. Ted Topacio and our proposed dialysis machine donation to the UP Infirmary led by Brod. Dan Bautista. UP Chancellor Caesar Saloma was grateful to acknowledge and approve these projects in the pipeline.
