Dear Brod Norman,

Hello there, brod!

Thank you for this message. F-Y-I Joepet Laraya, on Aug 1-4 last month came from Hongkong on holiday with a Bagua (Pakwa) teacher who has practiced the art for more than thirty years. He is a master of the Fu style Tai-chi, Bagua and Hsing-I which he started learning at age 14. Even during his holiday, he taught the fundamentals of the art and pledged to continue teaching us whenever we get a chance to get together. There were four of us who learned Bagua namely, Ollie, Jojo Alejar, his son John and myself. Joepet, who has been learning from him since last year, ably assisted. The group visited master JC's grave during the same period.

I continue to learn more, as I practice Tai-chi with brod Nelson Guerrero every Saturday. I hope to continue until I achieve a level that kung-fu practicioners say is the capacity to do healing, of self and others. I think I can do this as, at 67, I am not sick of anything and I maintain a walk and jog regimen of at least six kilometers daily. I also keep a group of friends my age and we intend to build decent, comfortable, concrete homes affordable for wage workers and those in the D & E GROUPS.

I look forward to meeting you again when you come for holiday.

Mabuhay!!!

Brod Ollie,

Wish I could do the same and pay my respects to Master JC. I'm sure from above he was so pleased with your visit, the flowers and candles, and your Tai-chi performance in his honor.

Yes, Cheers to our dearest Brod and Teacher Johnny!! The Legacy lives.

Brods,

Visited Master Brod JC's grave after lunch today, and placed flowers (left- and right-most in pic below). Lighted the candles, and then performed Phase 1 of the Tai-Chi 108 Yang Style in his honour. He must have been pleased as the heavy rain didn't pour down until I got back inside the cab. ;-)

Cheers to our dearest Brod Johnny!!!

Ollie
