        Would appreciate if you
        could transmit this letter and resolutions to the UP brods in the alumni
        chapters based abroad. Thank you for your unassailable dedication to UP
        Beta Sigma Fraternity. Cheers!
        President, UPBSFAAI

      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
      Beloved Brothers,
      On behalf of the UP Beta Sigma Fraternity Alumni Association, Inc (UPBSFAAI),
      I wish to communicate with your chapter three newly approved board
      resolutions which shall define relationships, communication processes, and
      financial contributions and management of all UP alumni chapters in the
      future. We have proceeded as an alumni association in a de facto basis and
      in unsystematic ways. We have endured, and survived though. But with a new
      declared vision for unprecedented growth and leadership in UP campuses,
      and other dreams for the future of our fraternity, the current ways
      require redirection. We in the board are aware of the intense desire of
      brothers here and abroad for UPBSFAAI to take visionary leadership and
      guide all chapters on how we can work together for the greater glory of
      the fraternity.
 We made a headstart this year with the declaration of 2010: The Year of
      the UP Beta Sigma Fraternity. These resolutions provide the foundation for
      an even bigger dream: 2010-2020: The Golden Decade of the UP Beta Sigma
      Fraternity.
 Here are the resolutions:
 Resolution 2010-1 declaring UP Beta Sigma Fraternity Alumni Association,
      Inc. (UPBSFAAI), as the Mother Chapter of all UP Beta Sigma alumni
      chapters. We find it best that it is formally declared through a
      resolution. We recognize other chapters to be independent in the
      management of their affairs and are requested to communicate with UPBSFAAI
      updates of their activities.
 Resolution 2010-2 requesting all chapters to collect and remit annual
      association dues of their members to UPBSFAAI. The board resolved to
      collect P500, or its equivalent in foreign currency, per alumni brother
      per year, an amount deemed reasonable as each brother’s minimum
      responsibility to the fraternity and to the mother alumni association.
      Financial statements shall be reported in official publications and the
      website of all brothers making payments for their annual dues. The usage
      of the annual membership dues shall be for the secretariat and other basic
      operations. A new account will be established by UPBSFAAI, known as
      UPBSFAAI-Membership Dues, as the exclusive depository of the membership
      dues.
 Resolution 2010-3 establishing the official website of the association –
      upbetasigmafraternity.com - and shall be linked to other websites of
      alumni chapters.
 We enjoin all fraternity brothers to take stock of this initiative.
 Mabuhay ang UP Beta Sigma Fraternity!
