My memory of Adolf Acorda. Lima kaming neophytes na nadukot ng Vet Med + Los Baños masters bago mag Lantern Parade at dinala sa bahay ni Adolf sa Area 17. The masters didn't like the dagger tattoo on the calf of Mon (aka "Dagger") Amparo and were hitting it repeatedly to "wipe it out" ("Burahin natin", sabi nila.) Val Pulmano from Vet Med asked me how many "clicks" of the forcep I wanted on my waist. I answered, "Kahit ilan ang gusto niyo, master". He clicked the forcep all the way down. Val asked me to sing the song "Smile" while he pulled the forcep down on the skin. Later Val (or another master, don't remember) told me to roll up my pants for the chain whip.

Dr. Roberto "Bobby" Gabiola was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle,
friend, teacher, and colleague.
He was a visionary and respectable leader who made a significant impact in his work and the lives of his family and loved ones.
He was an alumnus of the College of Business Administration at the University of the Philippines Diliman and a proud member of the Beta Sigma Fraternity.
He was also a former Board Member at Qualicare Pharma, Inc., and Chairman/President at A-Port Corporation. Furthermore, he was previously a Professional Lecturer at San Sebastian Institute of Graduate Studies, Rizal Technological University Graduate School, and University of the East Graduate School.
Moreover, he was known for his notable membership in professional and socio-civic organizations such as a Board Director at the Rotary Club of Cainta.
