I had a pre-neophyte glimpse of the ‘66 batch when I was in high school. I
entered the frat in ‘67. Brod Edward belonged to the Betan clan of the
Chiongbians, Trinidads and other big names that
comprised the Betans of the ‘50s and the ‘60s. He will be missed. Condolences to

Dear family and friends, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of
our beloved dad, moms partner in crime and travel buddy, Edward Chiongbian. He
caught a lot of fish and enjoyed his cocktail and cigar on his last day, and
passed away peacefully.
A wake will be held for him at Loyola Memorial Chapel in Sucat, starting today
at 5pm, until tomorrow at 7pm, when he will be cremated. We will be in the big
white cone chapel directly from the entrance.
