Very sad news, indeed. Condolences to the bereaved family, relatives and friends
of brod oragon migoy Jimmy Marquez. Rest in peace now with our Almighty God brod
Jimmy.
The last time I met him was in September 2018, when we (with Jimmy Marquez,
Perfing Palacio, Acho Regala and Epoy Sabularse) conducted Betan last rites to
our late brod Tony Altamarino in Naga City, CamSur.

I still vividly remember the last time I saw Brod Jimmy when we had dinner at
his house during the 60s. This was when the Tumbleweeds Team had a practice at
Brod Manny Cayetano family’s farm in Sipocot. After the jug a lug with Brod
Jimmy and the Brods, Brod Jimmy started the ritual of throwing all the glasses
and empty bottles towards a section of his concrete fence where you can see the
mound of broken glasses. This signaled the end of the drinking party. RIP Brod
Jimmy.

I vouch, brother Eric not only vividly and visually that memorable evening with
Brod Jimmy, one of the pillars of Bicol Beta Sigma, alongside with known Bicol
Beta Sigmans, diehards, loyal true blooded Beta Sigmans. He was my first mentor
as farm tech of my mother’s Rural Bank of Rinconada, that was before going to
LB. Saw him 4 or so years ago with late brother Tony Altamarino in his beautiful
and signature Brod Jimmy and Anita, touch and conceptions. Simply naturally
homey, resort in Pasacao, wonderful pleasant experiences. True, indeed, Brod
Eric we try to to relieve that brand of Jimmy akin to the Greek Culture, when
getting married you have to break and step on drinking glasses that connotes
Greek being a Greco, himself toast to a great brother from LB and Bicooool. Rest
In Peace dearest brother Jim, for guidance and unique brotherly relations, break
glass according to fantastic memories of Brod Eric P. I toast with you brother,
yellow submarine.
