Brods, I hate to be the bearer of sad news. In case you have not heard
Brod Johnny Singh passed away yesterday. Still not clear of the cause of
his demise but when I talked to him last week he just got out of the
hospital where he was confined for 3 weeks due to an infection on his
dialysis tube. I know Johnny had some run-ins with some of you before
which led to his leaving the group. Perhaps we can put those differences
aside at this time and let's give Brod John Ulanday Singh a send off he
deserves as a Beta Sigman.

HE WAS CREMATED. HIS URN IS STILL AT FUNERARIA PAZ AND LATER HIS USHES URN WILL BE PLACED BESIDE HIS WIFE AT COLUMBARIUM OF SANTUARIO DE SAN ANTONIO AT FORBES PARK, MAKATI CITY.
ATTY. JOSE (PEPING) M. ESCANO IS BATCH '54 OF THE U.P. BETA SIGMA
FRATERNITY. SINCE HE GRADUATED FROM U. P. DILIMAN IN BACHELOR OF

After reading Brod Anggie's email, I tried to look for an obituary or news article online about Brod Jose Escano. I did not find any, but found the following:
1) From lawyers.com, his credentials.
2) A YouTube video clip where he was a guest on a tv show in Jan. 2014 discussing his business (World Treasure at Megamall) as a shop owner and collector of antique coins, notes, stamps, etc.
He was a past president of the Bayanihan Collectors Club in Makati founded in 1979 which is fully accredited by BSP and SEC.
