My Dear Brothers in the UP Beta Sigma Fraternity:
Greetings of peace!
It is with sadness to inform our great brotherhood that another die hard UP Beta Sigman - my co- batch mate, Brod Ernie F. Carlos, from the UPLB - Forestry batch 1964 (Devoted To You), has joined his Creator yesterday, Thursday, March 15, 2018 at about 2pm. The cause of death was a massive stroke. Accordingly, that fatal stroke was Brod Ernie's 9th. He was 72 years old. His wake is at Villa Babas Funeral Parlor located at Poblacion, Municipality of Ypil, Province of Zamboanga-Sibugay. His internment is scheduled on Saturday, March 24, 2018.
Brod Ernie left a mourning wife- sister Minda, four children, namely,
Ernie Jr., Divina, Madonna and Jerome, and four (4) grandchildrren. Brod
Ernie was a Professional Forester, and used to be the General Manager
of the Zamboanga Wood Products, before joining the DENR in 1991, where he
retired in 2007 as a Division Chief of the then Ecosystem Research
Development Sector of DENR Region 9, Zamboanga City.

Let us continue to offer prayers for the eternal repose of the soul of
Brod Ernie, and those of other Brods who also have earlier joined their
Creator.
May our loving and eternal God look upon with kindness on Brod Ernie and
grant him eternal rest.
