A somber start to a new year, a reminder of how fragile and finite life is. My condolences to the families of brods Willie Quejada and Alex Montero.

Alex is “vintage” Mang Ruping tenant — the group of brods living in Area 11. Their place was a favorite hangout and tambayan extension during the early 70's.

If I am not mistaken, Alex was sponsored to the frat by Roland “Kino” Aquino+. He worked with Dr. Pogs Gaspay+ (and other brods) in FSDC many moons

ago and was aaigned in Tuguegarao where he set up roots. Both will be missed. No cheers.

Rest in peace brod Alex Montero. He attended the 2016 Platinum anniv. We had our post 45 + yrs. Photo taken , a repeat of our circa 1971 photo. He will be missed.
