Hi Bros,
Talking about internment rites, attached are some photos taken during the
last rites for Brother Pedro "Pete" Salvador, Sr. (UPLB Charter member)
last 8 July 2011 in Tagum City (Davao del Norte). Brothers from DENR
coordinated the conduct of the ceremony, which was attended by more than
20 brothers (from UPLB, UPMin, MSU, UM, etc).
The family of the late brother were delighted to hear the eulogy delivered
Bro Julius Valdez (LB69) as the latter narrated the life of Bro Pete as a
Brod, boss and former colleague in DENR. I also gave a brief message about
Brod Pete as I've known him since I was 10. Brod Pete was an instrument on
how my being Betan was accepted by my parents.
