Our brothers paid respects to Brod Romy Perez, batch 60, UP Diliman. we
started with the Betan Rites at around 8pm. There were around 20 brods
composed of resident brods led by GP Josh Caringal who conducted the
rites. Alumni brods present were Brods Mat Defensor, Father Bing, Joel
Paredes, Cris Michelena, Dante Agulto and Raffy Tomeldan. Photos were
taken by Cherrie Posadas of the Secretariat. Brod Mat delivered a
meaningful eulogy, extended the condolences and prayers of the whole UP
Beta Sigma Fraternity to Brod Romy's family. In the end, Father Bing gave
the final blessing and GP Josh delivered the closing statement. Brod
Milton Mendoza and Belle Wico visited the wake days before the final
rites. Brod Erwin Castillo, Brod Romy's bosom friend, was able to visit
him while he was in St. Lukes.
The next day, Saturday Nov. 20, Brod Romy was buried at Queen Mary
Memorial Park, a property owned by the Perez family.
May he rest in peace.
