HENRY A. ADORNADO, REGIONAL EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, DENR

Regional Executive Director (RED) Henry A. Adornado,
PhD, of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region X, has
been honored as the Outstanding Regional Forester of the Year for Region X by
the Society of Filipino Foresters, Inc. (SFFI). This distinguished award was
presented to him during the SFFI's 77th Anniversary and National Conference,
held on September 11, 2025, at the Iloilo Convention Center, Iloilo City.
The recognition highlights RED Henry's exceptional
leadership and his dedication to promoting sustainable forest management
practices across the region. His tireless efforts have not only contributed to
the advancement of reforestation initiatives and forest protection but have also
played a vital role in biodiversity conservation, strengthening the region's
ecological health for present and future generations.
