8-Year Olds Write Best Paper Ever On Grandparents. This Is Priceless.
from TICKLD.COM

What is your grandparents’ role in your life? Do they live under the same roof as you? Have you made your parents

grandparents as well? Here’s something that we’re sure grandparents of all ages will enjoy, so feel free to share it.

Grandparents are a lady and a man who have no little children of her own. They like other people's.

A grandfather is a man and a grandmother is a lady!

Grandparents don't have to do anything except be there when we come to see them... They are so old they shouldn't

play hard or run. It is good if they drive us to the shops and give us money.

When they take us for walks, they slow down past things like pretty leaves and caterpillars.

They show us and talk to us about the color of the flowers and also why we shouldn't step on "cracks."

They don't say, "Hurry up."

Usually grandmothers are fat but not too fat to tie your shoes.

They wear glasses and funny underwear.

They can take their teeth and gums out.

Grandparents don't have to be smart.

They have to answer questions like "Why isn't God married?" and "How come dogs chase cats?"

When they read to us, they don't skip. They don't mind if we ask for the same story over again.

Everybody should try to have a grandmother, especially if you don't have television, because they are the only grown ups

who like to spend time with us.

They know we should have snack-time before bedtime and they say prayers with us every time and kiss us even when

we've acted bad.

GRANDPA IS THE SMARTEST MAN ON EARTH! HE TEACHES ME GOOD THINGS, BUT I DON’T GET TO SEE HIM

ENOUGH TO GET AS SMART AS HIM!

Sali ako, brods. You know how that is. When we reach this age or time in our lives…then the focus makes a major shift to our apos. We only have one (but another one is on the way). She is the daughter of our eldest daughter Carmela who is married to Josh Rhodes. Our granddaughter’s name is Sadie Malabanan Rhodes. Turning 2 in September, she is amazing in that she already knows all her colors, the alphabets, her 1- 10 and a few other stuff… and she knows how to call me LOLO CALOW.

Two-and-a-half-year-old Bella is an independent toddler who wants to do her own things. She feeds herself, she chooses her own clothes and colours, she picks her own toys, and nearly does everything by herself. She goes to gymbaroo, a sort of pre-kinder school and like many Australian kids, is into swimming. At the moment, Bella is fascinated by Elsa (Frozen) and her magical song.

Bella's kuya, Alasdair, 5 1/2, attends kinder school aside from taking swimming and karate lessons. He enjoys traveling with his family and has visited Fiji, Singapore and the Philippines. He likes going outdoors and engages in rough-and-tumble games. He has watched big sporting extravaganzas like Australian Open, Australian-style football, and cricket games.

Dad Alex is food and beverage manager while mum Sarah is a lawyer. Sarah's mum quit the work force to help raise the two. She regularly takes them to public library, botanical gardens, zoo, aquarium, train and ferry rides, science displays, movies, parades, museum and other interesting places and events which the city offers. You see, Melbourne, being one of the most livable cities in the world is a great place to raise kids.
