UP SoCal Holds Christmas Party, Elects New G.P. by Norm Bituin
The UP Beta Sigma Southern California Chapter held its traditional Christmas party on Dec. 19, '09 at Brod Ago Romero's residence in Buena Park. Lots of food and dessert all prepared by Eva, plus the usual drinks and booze.
Only one agenda after dinner: the unanimous election of the current UP SoCal Vice GP, Edsel Arceo'73, as the incoming Grand Princep for 2010-2012. The Brods and Ladies gave their thanks to Dr. Frank Mamaril who had presided during the last two years. Brod Edsel, who is also the 2nd Vice President of UPBSFI and a member of the UPBSFI Board of Directors, wasted no time in announcing his set of officers, who are as follows:
Needless to say, everyone in UP SoCal is excited and really looking forward to Edsel's proven dedication and strong leadership. In fact, the new GP has already drawn up the upcoming major events for 2010:
