8 Los Banos and 1 Diliman Resident Brods are recipients of joint BBB and UP NorCal Scholarship for first semester AY2009-2010 by Tomsak Criador and Dutch Aragones
Attached are the BBB awarding pix given by UPLBBSFAAI President Leo Balagot'69 on July 31, 2009 at the Splash Mountain Resort during the Board Meeting. The grant for this semester was at PhRp12,000 each (US$250 x Php48/$). Total amount was Php108,000 for the 8 UPLB Brods and 1 UPD Brod.

Greetings Brothers!
I am the new recipient (from UP Diliman) of the Big Brothers’ Bounty scholarship grant. I want to express my gratitude to everyone in the Big Brothers Bounty program and say thank you with all my heart for the support I received for this semester. I am already in my 5th year in BS Metallurgical Engineering and hoping to graduate this school year. This semester has really been expensive because of my thesis and many other requirements and the timing has been much appreciated. You can be rest assured that the money will be put into good use. I will not waste this opportunity and be a responsible student (it’s the least I can do). Again, thank you and LONG LIVE BETA SIGMA!
