Ted Topacio’49 celebrates 85^th Birthday

Brod and National Scientist Teodulo “Ted” M. Topacio Jr. DVM, M.Sc., PhD celebrated his 85^th birthday last November 30 at the City Best Seafood Garden Restaurant in Quezon City. 

Brod Ted’49 was honored by his family, friends and colleagues. In attendance were several Brods among them Founder Rico Arranz, Congressman of Quezon City’s 3^rd District Mat Defensor’61, PTV 4 CEO Rolly Reyes’66 and current UPBSFAA President Ruben Pascual'76.

The highlight of the celebration was a showcase and recognition of  Brod Ted’s many achievements and awards.  Notable of these is his recent conferment as National Scientist by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and his being awarded with the “Saber of Distinction” for the Gawad Heneral Emilio Aguinaldo – "Natatanging Parangal sa Rebolusyonaryong Caviteño" by the Provincial Government of Cavite.
