In his email to Tatang 3/10/08, Vic wrote: "Brod Tatang, I'm contributing my copy of Ely Santiago's classic caricature
of the 1962 Collegian staff. Aside from myself, it includes brods Lito Imperio (editor), Frankie Llaguno, Jimmy Yambao,
Erwin Castillo, Vic Dulay, Edmund Sicam, Joe Rebano and my fellow newswriter Lerio Ancheta (Brandy's younger brother).
It was printed in the 1962 Christmas issue of the Philippine Collegian. These Ely Santiago pieces are real treasures. - Vic'62a".
The following were contributed by Benild Pires'64 of Victoria, B.C., Canada. Benild, originally from Goa, India, graduated from the
Institute of Mass Communication and was president of the International Club of UP (ICUP). He is married to the former Laila de Lara and
they are very active in the Filipino-Canadian community in Victoria helping the senior citizens by founding the Bayanihan Community Center.
