Lots of Fun in Christmas 2000

Here, we will mention the matter of excellent attendance -- an unprecedented 133 members of the expanded UP Beta Sigma family of Northern California (Brods, spouses and loved ones), and an unprecedented attendance of UP Betans in the Chapter (31 Brods) in a single event. Presence is in itself an important facet of our Brotherhood, and the following should be acknowledged. Just for the record, here's the actual count:

A few others on our 'confirmed list' weren't able to make it due to illness (Emy Fajardo and Anita Felix, wife of Brod Cecilio - paid for two and donated cash). Willy Quejada, Tristan Meneses and Angel Pagaduan weren't able to come for some reason. Others simply couldn't come for varied reasons: work, travel, family commitments, etc. Hope to see all of you next year though.

With this unexpected attendance, the Community Center we rented became very small. But WE ARE HAVING AN EXCELLENT VENUE for our CHRISTMAS PARTY NEXT YEAR (DEC 15, 2001). Brod Kiko Delmendo, our excellent Guardian of the Coffers, has already reserved CMC in Vallejo -- good for 200 people, plus ballroom dance floor and elevated stage, complete with stage lighting and romantic ambience. Check it out yourselves, Brods, and I'm sure you'll want to be one of the performers for next year's Christmas Party.
