LEADERSHIP EXCELLENCE AWARD to
GRAND PRINCEP IKE ARANETA
for his intense loyalty, single-minded determination and exemplary leadership in steering the U.P. Northern California Chapter towards greater heights, and for courageously taking on, and succeeding, in a difficult leadership challenge, thereby providing all former and future leaders of U.P. Beta Sigma Chapters an example worthy of emulation.

BETAN OF THE YEAR AWARD to
ENRICO “Eric” PUNZALAN
for his creativity and leadership demonstrated in all the Chapter’s activities, for his excellent planning and organizing skills shown in all functions, for inspiring many U.P. Betans into a performing mode, for unselfishly sharing his time, talent and treasure, and for his critical role in almost every aspect of our July 1999 festivities, which includes, among many other contributions, the solicitation of 20 or more advertisements for our Memento of a Lifetime.

PIONEERING AWARD to
the Chapter’s Grand Old Man NARCISO “Narcing” LAPUZ
for his pioneering efforts towards the establishment of a scholarship fund for U.P. Diliman and Los Banos brothers, and his critical role and leadership in bringing back many brothers into the fold, thereby providing all elders and members inspiration worthy of emulation.
